John WEST, Lucy BOLDEY (sp?) and their daughter Hannah Wells WEST moved to Guilford, Medina County in 1820 from Granville, NY. I'm trying to find out more about the parents, about whom this is all I know. I know much more about Hannah's offspring around Guilford, which I will try to share elsewhere on the Medina page. I am searching for information on my gg grandfather WILLIAM HOUTZ. He lived in Seville, Medina Co., Ohio. The Houtz family line could have been in this county since the early 1830s. I would like to know if my gg grandfather is buried there. His wife was ALMINA CHAPMAN HOUTZ, She came to Morgan County Missouri to live with her daughter, ELIZABETH FRANCELIA HOUTZ (born 1861 in Seville, Medina Co. Ohio). KNUPP/KNUP/KNOPP - seeking information on a marriage/death/anything for ELIZABETH KNUPP (which has also been spelled KNOPP or KNUP). She is listed as a fourth child of CHRISTIAN KNUPP, a resident of Wayne Co. who is buried in Medina Co. (Maple Hill Cem.). Of the four children, she is the only one I have not been able to track. Believe she was born ca.1832 so date of a possible marriage would be about 1850-1860? While there is an Elizabeth KNUPP buried in the Old Mennonite Cem. in Medina Co. (d. 7/21/1882), I believe this is Christian's second wife and not the missing daughter.
