I am searching for infromation on Huldah (FLINT) EMERSON, Who married Daniel Emerson in 1824 in Danville, Shipton Twp,Quebec, Canada East. They moved to Canaan, Wayne Co., Ohio, in about 1836 and lived there until after 1880 according to the Ohio Census, Then in March of 1889 I find that Huldah Emerson (widow) sold some property in Canaan, Wayne Co., Ohio, and was living in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa. Then in 1890 she sold some more property in Canaan, Wayne Co., Ohio, but was in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. So now I need to find out when and where she died and is burried. Also where Daniel died and is buried. They had children living in Medina Co., Ohio and in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa. Any information would be helpful. I was also told that the 1900 census for Ohio was destroyed by fire so what is a person to do.

In the 1850 OH census for Medina Co., Litchfield Twp. is a listing for Peter MANGUS, 30 y/o, a carpenter b. PA; his wife, Sarah 32y/o b. PA; dau. Elizabeth 8y/o b. OH; son Jonathan 6y/o b. OH and dau.Mary 4y/o b. OH. I think that this family later moved to Steuben Co., IN. I would like to have any information that might be available on this family. I would be interested in any evidence that this family lived in Medina Co., Litchfield Twp that might be available other than this census record. Thanks for your help in this matter.
