REAL ESTATE TRANSFER
(Solomon ROCKWELL & Brothers to Edward WOLCOTT)
To all people to whom these presents shall come greeting know ye that we Solomon & Martin ROCKWELL of Litchfield County and State of
Connecticut being joint-owners of the premises hereafter described
with the heirs of Alpha ROCKWELL dec'd & D. Reuben ROCKWELL of
Colebrook in said Litchfield County joint-Executor with said
Solomon (&) Martin of the last will & testament of said Alpha
dec'd we the said Executor being by said will & testament
authorized to make conveyance of land for the consideration of four
hundred & seventy-eight dollars received to our full satisfaction
of Edward WOLCOTT of Granville State of Ohio, do give, grant,
bargain sell and confirm unto the said Edward WOLCOTT a certain
piece of lot of land lying in Harrisville in the County of Medina
& State of Ohio, viz lot No. twenty-five in said town bounded north
on lot No. fifteen, east on lot No. twenty-six, south on lot No.
thirty-five, west on lot No. twenty-four, containing ninety-six
64/100 acres, be the same more or less. Also part of lot No.
fifteen bounded north on lot No. five, south on lot No. twenty-
five, west on part of sd (sic) lot owned by John & Jabez GILLET and
to extend so far east the whole width of said lot as to contain
ninety-four acres & fifty-six fifty-four hundredths of an acre of
land bounded east on part of said lot now owned by the Grantors.
To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with
the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Edward & heirs and
assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof. And
also we the said Grantors do for ourselves, our heirs, Executors,
and administrators covenant with the said Edward his heirs and
assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents we are
well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee
simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner
and form as is above written and that the same is free of all
incumbrances (sic) whatsoever and further more we the said Grantors
do by these presents bind ourselves and our heirs forever to
warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him
the said Edward his heirs and assigns against all claims and
demands whatsoever. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and seals the twentieth day of December Anno Domini 1819.

of Colebrook Litchfield Co., to Charles LEWIS.

REAL ESTATE TRANSFER
(Solomon ROCKWELL to Charles LEWIS)
To all people to whom these presents shall cover; - Greeting. Know ye that, we Solomon ROCKWELL of Winchester in the County of
Litchfield State of Connecticut & Reuben ROCKWELL of Colebrook in
said county & state for the consideration of seventy dollars
received to our full satisfaction of Charles LEWIS of Harrisville
County of Medina state of Ohio. Do give, grant, bargain sell, and
confirm unto the said Charles LEWIS a certain piece of land. Being
part of lot No. 34 in said Harrisville beginning at the south east
corner of said lot thence running west on the east and west line
eighty rods - thence north thirty-six rods. Thence east eighty
rods. Thence south thirty-six rods to the place of beginning
containing eighteen acres. To have and to hold the above granted
and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the
said Charles LEWIS his heirs and assigns forever to his and their
own proper use and behoof. And also; we the said Thomas & Reuben
do for ourselves our heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant
with the said Charles LEWIS his heirs and assigns that at and until
the unsealing of their presents we are well seized of the premises
as a good indefeasible estate in fee-simple, and have good right to
bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written,
and that the same is free of all incumbrances (sic) whatsoever.
And furthermore we the said Solomon & Reuben do by these presents
bind ourselves and our heirs forever to warrant and defend the
above granted and bargained premises to him the said Charles LEWIS
his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever.
We Sarah ROCKWELL wife to the said Solomon ROCKWELL & Rebecca (sic)
ROCKWELL wife to the said Reuben ROCKWELL do hereby relinquish our
right of dower in the above described lands. In witness whereof
have hereunto set our hands and seals the 11th day of May Anno
Domini 1826.

Transfer of Darke Co., OH Real Estate from William BERNEY to Thomas ROCKWELL, Jr.

REAL ESTATE TRANSFER
Wm. BERNEY to Thomas ROCKWELL, JR. Know all men that, I
William BERNEY of Cincinnati, bachelor, in consideration of one
hundred dollars to me paid by Thomas ROCKWELL, JR. the receipt
where of is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain, sell, and convey
to the said Thomas ROCKWELL, his heirs and assign forever, the
following Real Estate viz lying and being in the County of Darke,
State of Ohio, and described as the:
- North East quarter of the South West quarter of Sections
twenty four (24) Township fifteen (15) Range One East
containing forty acres be the same more or less.
Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same
belong in. To have and to hold the same to the said Thomas
ROCKWELL, his heirs, and assigns forever. The said William BERNEY
for his heirs, executors, and administrators does hereby covenant
with the said Thomas ROCKWELL, his heir and assigns that the title
so conveyed is clear, free, and unencumbered. And to warrant and
defend the same against all claims whatsoever.
In witness whereof the William BERNEY hereunto set his hand
and seal this tenth day of October in the year eighteen hundred and
forty-six.
